Chickpeas, Burp Cloths and Babies

I was talking to a pregnant friend the other day and she was filling me in on the goings on of stuff that happens when you have a baby. When you have a doggie as a child like I do, things like needing “burp cloths” are just not part of daily life.

So as an ode to ALL the pregnant girls here in my Silverlake neighborhood of LA, as well as everywhere, here is a fantastic sewing and pattern tutorial on how to make your very own diaper burp cloth from the Chickpea Sewing Studio. This site also has oodles of crafty projects like bibs and blankets. So you can go coo coo making fabulous things for your baby to be!
