Meghan from The Sewing Geek shares a free pattern for making a Moo Skirt to fit an 18″ doll. It’s a simple gathered skirt with an optional contrast band at the hem. It’s just like the girl-sized Moo Skirt that she sells in her shop, but on a smaller scale so it will fit a doll. You can use both patterns to make a set of matching skirts for girl and doll, or just use her free pattern to make a pretty skirt for the doll. The main part of the skirt can be cut from a fat quarter, and the trim from a piece just 12″ x 6″. Go to The Sewing Geek to get the pattern and tutorial.
