I want to take this opportunity to say Happy Father’s Day to my dad in Seattle! It was him who bought me my first sewing machine (that I still have, I might add!) Thanks Daddy!!
Father’s always seem so harder to gift for than Moms. I’ve taken to just getting my dad a bottle of brandy these days! But what about if your dad is a more traditional guy? Well how about making him a tie.
I personally had a terrible tie-making experience back in my early 20’s and have never really ventured to try it again.
Simplicity has come through for me yet again (seriously seems like I am always mentioning them! I promise I’m not secretly working for them or getting kick-backs or anything!). Pattern # 9469 features some easy men’s wear patterns- including a tie!
I’m older and wiser and a bit braver- so what thehey, I think it’s about time I give tie-making another try.
