Lookie what she made: 4th of July Ruffle Skirt

Terra from Mama Says Sew shows the 4th of July skirt that she made for her little girl.  This is SO cute!!  It’s a layered skirt with a stars and stripes theme.  The under layer has stripes made from rows of ruffled red and white fabric.  The rounded edges on the over layer remind me of old-fashioned patriotic bunting.  Read more about this cute skirt at her blog.

    Thanks for posting this… I do theatre costumes.. was looking at this and had an A HA moment.. I need this kind of skirt for some adults… and I can use the same technique and make it the size I need… thanks again
