Barbara posts on Wardrobe Refashion showing the long black skirt she made the previous winter. The embellishment design evolved, starting with stencils and spraypaint, moving to applique and then buttons. The result is an artistic, sophisticated look. I have a plain black pencil skirt which has been stained with bleach just above the knee on the rear side.
I would like to get an idea of how to embellish this expensive skirt in order to be able to wear it again as I love the fit.
Could you suggest anything??
That’s hard to say without seeing the skirt and the placemenat and size of the bleach spots. I would think that a floral applique would be pretty, perhaps also out of a black fabric so it becomes more of a textural design.
