Many people use an envelope system as a way to management their budget. They have separate envelopes that hold cash allotted to each budgeting area (groceries, gas, etc.) to keep them from overspending.
Ginger from Wiener Dog Tricks got tired of all the paper envelopes and made an organizer out of fabric. Just like the paper envelope system, there are pockets for each budget area. Her fabric alternative is way prettier, though! See and read more about her project at Wiener Dog Tricks.
