Shelley from 7 Layer Studio made this table runner as part of her Halloween decor. The zig-zagging stripes are actually ribbon that she stitched down to a solid piece of fabric. Fabulous!! See more pictures and read about her project at 7 Layer Studio.

ps. Thanks so much for the tip about the glue…what a great idea! I haven’t done much applique (too intimidating with all that handwork), but now that I know your tip, I may do more of it!
