Lookie what she made: Travel art desk with pockets and pouches

Merrilee from Tuesday Mourning and Mer Mag created this travel art desk for her young child to keep him busy on a long road trip. She came up with the design after trying to find a lap desk in the store that met their needs. Like many lap desks, her version has a hard surface on top of a flat pillow. What’s different is the pouches that hang from the sides to give a place for pencils, crayons, and the like. It’s super cute, and way functional. Brilliant! Read more about her project at Mer Mag.
