Sewing fashionable clothes from ugly patterns

jumpsuit1There’s a fun sewing series going on over at Simple Simon & Co.  It’s the You Can’t Judge A Pattern By Its Cover series.  They chose a bunch of rather unfortunate looking patterns and sent them to other bloggers to put to more fashionable use.  For example, this cool jumpsuit was made using a 1980s pattern (sans gimongous square collar).  Check out the series here.
