I don’t replace my sewing machine needles nearly as often as I should, but when I do I always worry about how to dispose of the sharp little needle. If you just drop it in the trash, there’s a good chance it will find its way to the bottom or side of the plastic bag and that’s no good. Becky from Patchwork Posse has a clever solution for storing the old needles. When the container is full, you just throw the whole thing away and not worry about any sharp points poking through. She also includes a free printable label for your old needle storage so you’ll remember not to use them again.
