Threads Magazine calls them fluid fabrics.  I always called them crawly or drapey fabrics.  You know, the fabrics that make beautiful, fluid gargments but are difficult to sew because they crawl all over the place, often not holding a pressed hem.  Luckily, Threads has posted some tips for sewing on these difficult fabrics.  Even if you’re not going to participate in the challenge, give their tips a quick read-through, and your next sewing adventure with fluid fabrics is sure to be much more satisfying.  Get the tips.
