Meghan from The Sewing Geek shows how you can make an ABC Alligator Game to play with a preschooler.  The game teaches children to recognize the letters of the alphabet in a fun, active way.  The parent calls a letter, and the child jumps to the correct tile to avoid being eaten by the ABC Alligator.  Meghan originally made all the pieces from paper, but they quickly got torn up.  The fabric pieces can be used and used and used again.  Click the link below to go to The Sewing Geek for the tutorial and the game rules:
