April from Without a Map shows how to make a drawstring bag with a round bottom.  She gives the measurements for the bag using a CD as a pattern for the base, but she also tells how to figure out the measurements for any size circle.  My inner geek totally loves that she uses the real geometry terms for the parts of the circle – chord, diameter, circumference, oh my!  (Don’t worry if you don’t remember what all these terms mean; she gives a diagram as well.)   Get the tute.
