Ruby from Zaaberry shows how she made her French cuff and boatneck variation on the Lady Skater dress (pattern by Kitschy Coo). Both variations are easy to do, and give a polished, tailored look to the simple knit dress. You can make them on any basic top or dress pattern, but there’s no denying how good they look on a Lady Skater. The boatneck is just a matter of raising the neck and widening it out. For the French cuff, she shows how to draft the pattern and sew the cuff to the sleeve. Go to Zaaberry to see how to make a French cuff.
