Preethi at WIDI shows how to make this pretty summer dress for a little girl. It has an empire waist bodice and thin shoulder straps that tie at the back. It’s actually a variation of her Mela Summer Dress pattern she shared a couple of weeks ago. Her Mela Summer Dress is a free pattern and comes in sizes 2T – 7/8T. This version is simplified, with only one layer for the skirt instead of the three. It’s quick to make – she says she was able to make the one in her post in just 30 minutes.
