Tutorial: Make a fabric yo-yo without a fancy yo-yo maker

Prudent Baby shows how to gather a circle of fabric into a yo-yo.  You can buy a plastic yo-yo maker in the notions section of the fabric or craft store, but they’re not necessary to make fabric yo-yos.  Prudent Baby’s method requires just fabric and a needle and thread, and a pretty button for the center.  You can use the gathered fabric circles as embellishments for t-shirts, bags, pillows, hair accessories, etc.   Get the tutorial for the low-tech fabric yo-yo at Prudent Baby.
