Tutorial: No slip needle threading technique, plus an easy knot Deanna from Sew McCool shows a couple of cool needle threading and knotting techniques.  First, she shows how she threads a needle so the thread tail won’t slip out of the eye and become unthreaded.  Then, she shows the easy way to put a knot at the bottom of the thread.  It’s a lot easier than the clunky, clumsy method that I use!  It’s called a “quilter’s knot” but it’s useful for all types of hand sewing.  Go to Sew McCool to see her easy threading and knotting techniques.
