Kitty from Kitty Gardens Makes shares a tutorial for making this play-sized oven glove and placemat.  The placemat is appliqued with shapes showing where to put the dish, the glass, and the flatware.  Make one for your child’s play kitchen. While they’re playing pretend, they’re also learning how to set the table!  Go to the tutorial.
