sailboatbubbleAlida from Alida Makes shows how to make this cute bubble sundress.  It has a paper bag bodice and contrast straps.  The fit is super flexible.  It fits her 4-year-old daughter as a dress, and her 7-year-old as a tunic.  (I’m all about getting the most wear out of a handmade dress!!)  Her tutorial is part of the 30 Days of Sundresses series hosted by Melly Sews.  Go to her tutorial.

I don’t know where you got the “paper bag” part from. She doesn’t mention any paper bag in her tutorial…..

“Paper Bag” refers to a style of waistband that has a small ruffle at the top. Here’s a Google image search to illustrate:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=paper+bag+waist&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=G1K_Ue_AFIX2qwHqt4D4CA&ved=0CCsQsAQ&biw=1312&bih=627

The bodice on her dress uses the same technique, so I referred to it as a “paper bag bodice”. –Anne
