April 26, by Anne Weaver. 5 Comments

pillowcasecontrastband**Editor’s Note**  The links in this post are no longer active.  Luckily, you can find tutorials to make similar pillowcases here and here.

Karlee Fuchs shares a free pillowcase pattern that’s perfect for those learning how to sew.  Her instructions are geared to the beginner.  In addition to very clearly written steps in the construction of the pillowcase, she includes other basic sewing information such as the  right/wrong side of the fabric and how to cut the fabric.  Get the pattern.

It looks like the Karlee Fuchs’ blog is down. I’m not sure if that’s a permanent thing, or just a temporary situation. Try searching Craft Gossip for other links to pillowcase projects. –Anne

Sadly, I cannot do anything to make their website work again. But, I can give some links to alternate tutorials. I’ve added them to the post in an editor’s note. –Anne
