Linda from  Pane Amore & Creativita shows how she made a Halloween costume for her sweet little pirate.  She provides the tutorial for making a vest and links to a tutorial for the hat.  I love the embroidered pirate on the back of the vest!  Get the tutorials.

Her blog is written in Italian, but I was able to get the gist of the tutorials from the photos.  You could also use a website translator such as Babelfish to help you out.
