Whenever I see that I’ll have a curved piece of fabric at the bottom of a garment, I get a sinking feeling thinking. A curved edge often creates the right shape, but hemming it can be a bear. Kelli at Presser Foot shows how to put a narrow hem on curved fabric pieces and keep a smooth edge. It’s part of their August project series on sewing an apron. Go to the tutorial.
