Vintage sewing machines are everywhere – if you just know where to look. I find them all the time at rummage sales, thrift stores, and estate sales. One more than one occasion, I’ve even found them sitting by the curb free for the taking. The thing is, they’re usually not so pretty when you pick them up, and sometimes they need some TLC. Hannah from Palindrome Dry Goods has a wonderful post on how to restore a vintage sewing machine. She has great advice for how to take the pieces off so you know how they go back again.
