Snaps make a convenient closure for a baby bib, and that’s important when you’re trying to get a bib around a squirmy baby. Snaps are also a convenient closure for other sewn items. They make great closures for wrist cuffs, wallets, and more. They’re easy to install, and Alyce from And Sew We Craft shows how. You’ll need metal snaps and a snap setting tool, which you can find at most chain craft and fabric stores. Go to And Sew We Craft for the tute.

Snaps are really more convenient for closure. Based on what I have experienced, baby bibs with snaps do last longer and baby can’t pull it off easily. So it’s good to have them for our little one. I’d like to ask, which is better to use plastic snap or metal snap? I’m just a bit confused about the two of them.

I agree that snaps are a whole lot better closure, usually bibs come with a velcro and it would be useless since babies can pull it off easily.
