Instructables user acafarchio is one brave woman. Over the course of 9 months, she taught a preschool class how to sew, and then helped each one create their own costume. While many (most) would have shied away from taking on such a task, she believed that these young children could handle it. The children got far more than just a handmade costume - they gained hand-eye coordination, patience, and the knowledge that they are capable of bringing their ideas to fruition. Read more about this special project and how you can also do this with a group of young children.
