If you think of a monogram as formal, swirly letters, then you haven’t seen the stencil graffiti monogram that Abby from Things For Boys made for her son. Fancy embroidered calligraphy letters are replaced with oversized chunky letters filled with a typewriter font pattern spelling the child’s name. It’s a no-sew monogram, but I couldn’t help but share. She put it on a store-bought shirt, but this would also look cool on a shirt you make. Get the tutorial on her blog.
