Paper gift wrap gets used once and thrown away. But fabric gift wrap can be used over and over and over. And for a sewist, the fabric gift wrap is a present in and of itself. Lisa from Cucicucicoo has a blog post describing furoshiki, the Japanese art of fabric gift wrap. She includes a tutorial for making the fabric rectangles and also some popular methods of wrapping and knotting the fabric around a gift.
