Here is my top list of Sewing related story lines.

One of the books on my list, “The Dressmaker,” tells the story of a woman who returns to her small hometown to start her own dressmaking business. She uses her skills to help the women of the town look and feel their best, but also uncovers some dark secrets about the past. It’s a story of friendship, love, and the power of fashion.

Another book, “The Hemingway Thief,” is a mystery novel that follows a young woman who inherits a box of Hemingway’s letters and a sewing machine that once belonged to his wife. As she delves deeper into the story behind the letters and the machine, she uncovers a web of lies and deception.

“The Stitching Hour” is a historical fiction novel set in World War II, about a group of women who gather to sew and share stories during their lunch hour. It explores the bond that forms between the women, and how the power of friendship can help them cope with the harsh realities of war.

“The Lost Art of Dress” is a non-fiction book that explores the history of dressmaking and the impact of industrialization on the fashion industry. It also examines the importance of reviving traditional dressmaking skills in today’s world.

These are just a few examples of books about sewing available for you to enjoy, I am sure there are 100’s out there, if we have missed a title drop us a comment below and we will add it to the list.
