April 12, 2022 by Shellie Wilson

How many t-shirts do you own? I have to confess I am kinda a t-shirt addict, nothing fancy and no graphics on the front, just plain and comfy t-shirts are my go-to on School mornings.  I have a couple of styles in different colors, and even a few small floral prints. When I find a pattern I like I make it in several different colors and fits. Here is a list of 21+ different t-shirts that you can sew yourself.

Sewing your own t-shirts is a wonderful way to express your creativity and create a wardrobe that truly reflects your personal style. Whether you’re an experienced sewer or just starting out, there are many benefits to making your own t-shirts.

In this roundup, we’ve compiled 21+ different t-shirt patterns for you to choose from. These patterns include a variety of styles, from basic t-shirts to more complex designs with embellishments and unique features. Whether you’re looking for a classic, timeless design or something more modern and on-trend, you’re sure to find something that suits your needs in this collection.

T-shirts are a fun basic pattern perfect for anyone who is just learning to sew or has limited time to put something together. Paid patterns tend to have more detailed instructions also.

One of the main benefits of sewing your own t-shirts is that you have complete control over the design and fit of your garments. You can choose your own fabrics, colors, and patterns to create something that is truly unique and suits your personal style. Additionally, you can also make adjustments to the fit of the pattern to ensure that your t-shirts fit you perfectly, unlike buying ready-made t-shirts which may not always fit as desired.

Another benefit of sewing your own t-shirts is that it can save you money in the long run. Sure, there may be an initial investment in supplies and patterns, but over time, you’ll save money by not having to constantly buy new t-shirts. Additionally, you can also upcycle fabrics or clothes to create new t-shirts, which is a great way to be more sustainable and eco-friendly.

Sewing your own t-shirts is also a great way to develop new skills and improve your existing ones. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sewer, there’s always something new to learn. Sewing can be a very relaxing and meditative activity and can help to reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being.

The patterns in this roundup include detailed instructions and step-by-step photos, making them easy to follow even if you’re new to sewing. Additionally, many patterns also include suggestions for fabric choices, so you can make sure to choose the right type of fabric for your project.

In conclusion, sewing your own t-shirts is a wonderful way to express your creativity and create a wardrobe that truly reflects your personal style. With 21+ patterns to choose from, you’re sure to find something that you’ll love. Not only will you save money in the long run, but you’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that you made it yourself.
