If you’re looking for a quick but satisfying project to make, may I suggest a pincushion? There are plenty of sewing patterns and tutorials available to make a pincushion any way you could imagine. Sewing Pincushions are also called Emery Bag as they contain Emery powder and oxide iron that removes rust from pins and needles. Emery pinch cushions can be bought here.
