Guess who’s the latest blogger to be featured on The Bullet List at The Mother Huddle?

I was SO excited when Destri asked me to submit a Bullet List to her blog. I love reading what other bloggers write when given a block of bullets to write anything they want.  The lists are so varied from blogger to blogger – it’s fun to see how everyone’s personality comes out when they create a list.

As a former technical writer, I have a “thing” for bulleted lists.  I know, it’s sick, isn’t it?  Those little black dots just make me happy.  And getting a chance to use a bulleted list to talk about sewing – which I love even more than bulleted lists – was just over the top for me.  Check out my Bullet List over at The Mother Huddle.

Charming Tea Towel Clutch Purse – Free Sewing Tutorial

This Charming Tea Towel Clutch Purse is such a clever upcycling project, and I love that it turns something as simple as a tea towel into a pretty handmade accessory. It is one of those sewing ideas that feels practical, affordable, and creative all at once — exactly the kind of project that makes you look at your linen drawer a little differently.

It is practical enough to use, pretty enough to gift, and a great reminder that handmade accessories do not need to start with expensive fabric. Sometimes all you need is a tea towel, a little interfacing, and a handful of buttons or charms to create something completely unique.
