Janine from Heidi in Lederhosen shows how she used some of the novelty Very Hungry Caterpillar fabric to make this sweet toy for her young son. It’s a large caterpillar softie, and a set of pictures of the foods he ate. The foods have Velcro on the back and can be attached to the strips of Velcro sewn across the large caterpillar’s tummy. This is such a great idea for small children! (This would also be a really cool item for a pre-K teacher to use with the class.) Read more at Heidi in Lederhosen.
