Has anyone else been experiencing Extreme Summer Busy-ness (E.S.B.)? You know, one crazy hectic day after another filled with playdates, family obligations, swim team, library reading club, and other random activities coming at you so fast you hardly have time to breathe?
E.S.B. hit hard at the Weaver household this summer, and has caused me to fall behind on my Craft Gossip Dolly Donation Challenge pledge. My pledge was to create five dolls and two new patterns for dolly accessories. I’ve made the patterns, but have only been able to create two dollies.
Last night as I was realizing that the month of July was quickly coming to a close, I realized two things. 1) There wasn’t time in the next 24 hours for me to make three dollies, and 2) that I was surely not the only one feeling the summer crunch.
So… in recognition of the havoc that E.S.B. is wreaking on all of our lives, I’m going to extend the Craft Gossip Dolly Donation Challenge for one more month. We’ll run it through the month of August, with the deadline for receiving dollies extended until September 7, 2010. This will give time for the kiddoes to get back into school and our schedules to get a little more predictable, and will give us all a little less hectic pace for making the dollies.
