DIY Nordic Felt Ornaments Tutorial

October 24, 2020 by Anne Weaver

DIY Nordic Felt Ornaments Tutorial

This winter decorate your Christmas tree with some modern felt ornaments!  These decorations are easy to make and will give your tree a Scandinavian vibe. Ohoh Deco shows how you can make them!  You only need a few simple supplies: Felt fabric, the ornament patterns, some ribbon, a needle and matching thread.

These ornaments are very simple and within everyone’s reach. You don’t need a sewing machine, you can sew them together with a few hand stitches. For a few bucks you can pick any felt color you like and make your ornaments set.  The best about felt decorations is that they are unbreakable, kids friendly and durable. To enjoy them for years, you can simply store them flat in a shoe box.  Have fun making some cute felt decorations with a Nordic look!

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
