Easy Bowl Cozy – Free Sewing Pattern

November 7, by Anne Weaver. 2 Comments

Keep your hands from burning when heating up meals using a microwave with this DIY bowl cozy! Download the free bowl cozy pattern from Hellosewing and watch the video to learn how to make a microwave bowl cozy in minutes.

Thanks to the easy-to-use soup bowl cozy template, this project is simple enough for sewing beginners to finish without any difficulties. At the same time, it’s fun and practical, which makes it a treat for experienced sewing enthusiasts as well!

The bowl cozy pattern comes in two versions, one for a square and one for a rounded bowl cozy. Whichever one you make, it should fit most standard size bowls easily. Just make sure to use only pure, 100% cotton for this project, for safety reasons. The rest is easy-peasy! Watch the video, learn how to make a bowl cozy, and say goodbye to burning your hands when heating up food!

I clicked on the link for the bowl cozy, and a new page opened. I then clicked on the bowl cozy, foolishly expecting to download a pattern, however, a new tab opened, with this original page!! what fun!! I just LOVE going around in circles!! Nothing is FREE!!

I am not sure why you are having an issue, one-click on this article will take you to the tutorial, one more click from that article will take you to the PDF pattern that you can print. It is free, might take two clicks though.
