With just an hour, you can make a set of kids pajamas out of an adult long sleeved t-shirt. Emily from Nap Time Creations shares a tutorial showing how to do it, and she also includes a free pattern for making them. This works best for younger kids, as their pajamas don’t take as much fabric as older kids. Her free pattern comes in sizes 2T – 4T. To make a larger pair of pajamas, you can either adjust her pattern or make your own by tracing around pajamas that fit your child. If you don’t have a t-shirt large enough for your pattern, you could also use knit yardage. The only difference will be that you’ll need to hem the sleeves and the pants legs, as you won’t have a t-shirt hem to repurpose.
