Free pattern: 1940s inspired capelet

Vera Venus shares a free pattern on her blog for making this lovely little 1940s style capelet.  She shows it made up in a felt, but she suggests wool, fake fur, linen, or heavy cotton as other possible fabrics.  The pattern is available in one size – a UK size 12, which converts roughly to a US 8 or 10.  This is a pattern only (no instructions), but if you have sewn a dress or shirt with a simple collar before then you should be able to figure it out on your own.  Get the free pattern.
