Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shares a free pattern for a baby boy romper, also called Jon Jons or John Johns.  The romper is an easy-to-wear one-piece outfit for baby, with buttons at the shoulders and snaps at the crotch for easy dressing and diaper changes.  She designed it for a baby boy, but it would also be suitable for baby girls.  Her free pattern makes a romper in size 0-3 months, perfect for gift giving to a new baby.
