Free pattern: Cuffed pajama pants for toddlers

October 24, 2013 by Anne Weaver

Free pattern: Cuffed pajama pants for toddlersJess from Craftiness Is Not Optional guest blogs over at Birch Fabrics with a free pattern for making a pair of cuffed pajama pants for toddlers.  They’re made from a soft flannel.  They work equally well for boys or for girls.  The cuffs at the bottom are kept rolled up with a button tab, allowing some flexibility or a growing child.  (You can let the cuff down a bit and resew the button when the pants grow too short.)  Her free pattern is for a size 3T.  If you need another size, you could trace around a pair of pants that fit your child and then use her pattern as a guide to make the cuffs and tabs.  Go to Birch Fabrics to get her pattern and tutorial.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
