Jess from The Sewing Rabbit shares a free pattern for making a pair of faux drop bottom baby pants. She’s been giving these as baby gifts for a number of years now, always to rave reviews. She has put the pattern and tutorial on her blog so you can make some too. The flap on the back is just decorative. How cute is it with baby’s name appliqued on to it! You can make a pair from a thrifted t-shirt (or perhaps a shirt lurking in the back of your closet). Her free pattern comes in sizes 0-3 months through 2T.
