Red Brolly shares a free pattern for making the cutest felt ladybug coin purse!  The ladybug body is the purse, with its head as the flap that covers the opening.  She suggests using a higher quality felt for this project so that it will be sturdy enough to stand up to repeated use.  She also made a bee coin purse from the same pattern by changing out the colors and using stripes instead of polka dots.  I think this pattern would also work to make a cute alien or monster purse.

“I saw a sewing trend on Pinterest that I loved — a style that’s everywhere right now.

I didn’t buy it. I didn’t resell someone else’s pattern. I just used my own skills and made a version for myself.
