Fleece Fun shares a free pattern for making a hooded cape for Halloween costumes. They use fleece fabric – which is both easy to work with and inexpensive – but you could also use another fabric type if it suited your costume better. Get the free pattern.

What is the actual length of the cape? I’m wanting to sew this as a floor length cape for my cousin’s birthday and she’s nearly six foot.
