When she was little, my daughter always loved her mommy-made nightgowns better than any other sleepwear.  Something about having something handmade just for you to snuggle into at night….  Melissa from Sew Like My Mom shares a free pattern at Riley Blake Designs for making a little girl’s nightgown. It’s her Clover nightgown, and it comes in sizes 18m – 8 years.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
