Free pattern: Little girl’s princess dress

Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shares a free pattern for making a little girl’s princess costume. It’s gorgeous with a gathered neck line and long dramatic oversleeves. The design was inspired by Buttercup’s dress in The Princess Bride. You can use any basic dress pattern as you starting point. She’ll show how to modify it to make it a fancy princess dress. If you don’t have a basic dress pattern already, she has one you can download for free. Her free pattern comes in a girls size 3T, but she gives a link to a post telling how to resize as needed.
