Maria from Deshilachado created this adorable little sewing machine softie. The knobs are made from buttons, and there’s even a little piece of fabric being sewn. But my favorite part is the way she used a straight pin to make the needle and the thread take-up on the top of the machine. She shares a tutorial showing how to make one. She gives a free pattern (you’ll need to add seam allowances) and also gives measurements so you can just draw it yourself if you prefer. Finished size is 2.5″ tall x 3.1″ wide. You could use it as a pincushion, or just keep it as a decorative piece.
