Abby Glassenberg fromWhile She Naps, and author of Stuffed Animals: From Concept to Creation, shares a free pattern for making these soft rattle ball baby toys. You can make them from two 5″ x 8″ pieces of fabric. She suggests fleece, but any fabric will work. Fleece has a little bit of stretch, which will make it easier to get smooth curves. With a rattle insert, they’ll make a fun noise when shaken. They can be hard to find, but she sells them in her shop. Go to While She Naps to get the free pattern and see how to make them.
