Sewn Up by TeresaDownUnder is offering a free pattern for making a pair of silk slippers. This would be a great project to use a silk scarf, perhaps one that is showing damage in isolated spots. The pattern is unisex. Because they’re made from silk, these are more of a lightweight slipper. For a sturdier pair for everyday use, she recommends replacing the silk with a sturdier fabric and using a thick felt inside the soles instead of batting. I think you could probably still use the silk for the top, though with a sturdier fabric for the lining.
