Mary Beth from Retro Monkeys shares a free vintage pattern at the Pattern Patter site for making this adorable felt elephant. He would make a sweet decoration for a nursery (embroider the eyes to be safe around a baby). Using their measurement scale, the finished elephant will be roughly 10″ from tail to trunk. You can enlarge or reduce as you like to make in other sizes. The pattern was originally published by Workbasket Magazine in 1955.
