Free Sewing pattern: Watermelon wristlet clutch

September 13, 2014 by Anne Weaver

Free pattern: Watermelon wristlet clutch

Free pattern: Watermelon wristlet clutch

Cherie from You & Mie shares a free pattern for making this cute watermelon wristlet clutch.  It’s quick to sew up.  She made up a stack of them to give as favors at her daughter’s birthday party.  She makes it from felt, which makes the applique easy because the edges won’t fray.  You could also make this from a woven fabric if you don’t mind raw edges.  Or, use white bias tape to cover the raw edge of the red applique.
