Petite clothing is sized for women 5′ 4″ or shorter. In a store, you could shop the petite section. When sewing, you can adjust any pattern to fit a petite with some simple alterations. Madalynne shares a handy chart showing the adjustments to make to a regular size pattern to make it fit petites.
